The Gramercy Theatre Company, producers of last seasons Magician’s Nephew and High School Musical at the Orlando Science Center, announce auditions for the upcoming 2008-2009 season. Gramercy is now in partnership with the historic Plaza Theatre in Orlando and all of the 2008 season will take place at the Plaza’s two venues.

Gramercy Theatre Company strives to bring the highest quality live theatre to our city. One earmark of the company will be bringing top guest artists to town – the finest artists from NYC and L.A., collaborating closely with the best artists Orlando has to offer.

The 2008-2009 Season includes:
Little Shop of Horrors (Book and Lyrics by Howard Ashman, Music by Alan Menken), opens October 2.

The Last Five Years (Book, Music and Lyrics by Jason Robert Brown), opens October 17.

Shadowlands (by William Nicholson). Opens November 28.
Another Christmas Story: The Life and Times of Little Brother Randy (Premiere, by Ian Petrella and Dan Roche), opens December 5.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Book by Betsy Kelso, Music and Lyrics by David Nehls), opens January 30, 2009.

Driving Miss Daisy (by Alfred Uhry), opens February 25, 2009.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Lyrics by Tim Rice, Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber) opens April 15, 2009.
