Leaving behind scholarly pursuits for magic, Faustus sells his soul to Lucifer to quench his thirst for knowledge. With the devil, Mephistopheles, as his servant for 24 years, and the dark arts at his disposal, Faustus travels the globe to satisfy his insatiable desire for power.
