"Mission to Mate" unfolds as a series of three one-acts; "The Twinkle in your Eye" an innocent comic coffee shop encounter that becomes something darker than it originally appears; "The Naked Cello" a bizarre late night phone call that quickly expands to Orton-esque proportions; and "Mission to Mate" a barroom come-on that stretches the boundaries of time, space and love. Each play is a two-hander, each takes place in Los Angeles, each bound to the other through the sultry and sometimes slippery theme of seduction and several thread-like plot points that are sure to challenge the audience like a good-old fashioned whodunit thriller. The one-hour show also employs dance in a way you may have never seen before and may never see again. Come. And be seduced.
“Mission to Mate” opens on Saturday, June 9 through June 24. Tickets are $10.
