NEW ROCK’S GHOSTS OPENS JANUARY 27
New Rock Theatre, best known for the live version of the cult classic film POINT BREAK LIVE, kicks off 2011 with GHOSTS by Henrik Ibsen.
According to press notes, GHOSTS concerns the controversial and hidden pasts that are suddenly exposed when the wealthy widow Mrs. Alving prepares to open a new orphanage in memory of her seemingly beloved husband. The cast includes: Brittany Ellis as Mrs. Alving, Elsa Richardson as Regina Engstrand, Jason Nykiel as Oswald Alving, Patrick Doolin as Jacob Engstrand and Robert McConnell as Pastor Manders. The production is directed by Derek Bertelsen.
GHOSTS will open at New Rock Theatre (3933 N. Elston, Chicago) on Thursday, January 27 at 7:00 and will run for four weeks, closing February 27.
