Oleg (Jabaley) is unfortunately unable to participate in his country's national pastime due to his lack of ability, but he is captivated by tango queen Selda (Hynds) and longs to earn her affection. Selda's dance partner (del Barrio) is intent on keeping the pair in the limelight and spends much time making sure the couple remains in the public's view in order to maintain their level of celebrity.
