ews and Blacks test democracy, Tempers, home values, flawed liberal thinking and Jewish guilt in conservative St. Louis, 1963 when colored people buying in a classy white neighborhood was a definite NO NO! Dr. Daniel Black, a negro bio-chemist, is determined to buy a house in an upscale white (mostly Jewish) neighborhood, even if it ruffles some feathers. The house is owned by home builder Jeff Bluestein, a Jewish liberal, who discovers breaking the color barrier could break his bank account and his marriage. The prejudicial uproar results in tense drama and laugh-out-loud comedy. YOU'LL LAUGH, YOU'LL CRY, YOU'LL THINK.
