Laura Sturm returns to the role of Alma Stossel, with Jim Sherman returning as grandpa Gus. Others featured in the cast include Steven Marzolf as Peter Stosel with John Burns as young Karl. John Leen is first mate Steve, with Geoffrey Plitt and Kevin Grubb featured as Rudy and Oscar. Anne Sheridan Smith is cousin Martha, with Harmony France, Nancy Kolton, Sadie Wynn, Zach Zube, and Brent T. Barnes in the ensemble. Amanda Hays plays Mary Clare Daugherty.
