Albany Municipal Auditorium

301 Pine Ave
Albany, GA 31701-2532  US

The Albany Municipal Auditorium, located in downtown Albany, Georgia, U.S., was built in 1915 to replace a wooden auditorium on the same site used for Chautauqua programs. It was abandoned in 1972 and was restored beginning in 1986 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "Municipal Auditorium".

The auditorium is the home of the Albany Symphony Orchestra. The building also hosts Deerfield-Windsor School's annual Spring Musical, consisting only of student participation in the cast. The Municipal also hosts Ballet Theatre South's (formerly Albany Ballet Theater) annual production. B.T.S. is the only ballet company in southwest Georgia.
