Doric Wilson's A Perfect Relationship on Saturday, July 12th at 8pm

Prater Productions and Café Coco will kickoff The Blackbox Series on
Saturday, July 12th at 8pm with a production of Doric Wilson's A
Perfect Relationship. The Blackbox Series strives to present lesser
known works that are interesting, innovative, and funny. The Blackbox
Series will be presented as staged readings with simple sets.

Will Prater, the Executive Director of Prater Productions, stated, A
Perfect Relationship is a very funny script about being lonely when
the love of your life is right in front of your eyes." Prater, who has
been involved in theater for 14 years added, "Blackbox is theater
worth seeing at a price that can't be beaten."

In an April 2003 review in Oobr, the Off-Off Broadway Review, Jade
Esteban Estrada called A Perfect Relationship "a look back at where
gay society has been while demonstrating a glimpse of the unique
shades of gay relationships.s

Though A Perfect Relationship has been updated a few times since it's
late 1970s inception, the play's universal themes of friendship and
the unexpected places to find love are as relevant today as ever.

Café Coco is located at 210 Louise Avenue. Admission is $4.00. Food
