Drag Show Video Vérité, a unique historical archive that gathers and
preserves rare film and video footage that captures the faces and places on the NYC
Drag Scene, will be having a special screening at The LGBT Center ( 208 W.
13th St. , NYC) on Monday, July 14th as part of the annual Fresh Fruit
Festival. A $10 donation is request to cover space and equipment rental. Drag Show
Video Vérité 2008 offers colorful footage from the 1950s to the Present,
providing a who´s who of NYC Drag performers past and present.

It´s the ultimate NYC Drag Show on video!

Drag Show Video Vérité is curated, produced and directed by noted historian
Dr. Joe E. Jeffreys and edited by Seth S. Hunter.

Highlights include:
* A rare 1965 8mm film by Avery Willard documenting Club 82´s Adrian
performing her scandalous Salome dance.
* Dean Johnson at Wigstock 1986 with Lady Bunny, Nelson Sullivan and Dugwah.
