Literally, the Big Show of the 1996-1997 season, this splashy revue of Duke Ellington and Ellington-inspired songs was the all-singing, all-dancing, all-spectacle hit of the year. Featuring the stellar talents of Ben Bagby, Karen Hebert, Mandy Zirkenbach, Sarah Jane McMahon, Vatican Lokey, Robin Noel, Freda Molizone-Nall, Craig Terese, and a host of the city's finest performers, with memorable special appearances by Edward R. Cox and Cora Joffe.
The score includes such iconic Ellington songs as "Take the A Train", "Something to Live For", "Mood Indigo", "Caravan", "Do Nothing 'Til You Hear From Me", and many more.
