"Get This Lake Off My House: Our Tempest explores the beauty, humor, frustrations, and love in the New Orleans experience from Katrina through the 2006 mayoral election. Truth and fiction blur to tell the compelling human stories of a mayor, a doctor, a pair of young lovers, and a comedic trio of unlikely pals. The performance features original music by local musician Brigham Hall and takes place at the site of the old Pontchartrain Beach, in, on, and around Lake Pontchartrain, invoking its resonance as the water that filled our city."
