"Written around 1959 (first produced at the Kennedy Center in May 2004), Queens is a candid and sympathetic portrayal of Candy Delaney, a resourceful and romantic drag queen who takes an enormous gamble pursuing his dream of a lifelong companion in this poignant, remarkable, and witty play."
