Chard Gonzalez Dance Theatre presents an original dance theatre performance “Down the Rabbit Hole” hosted at the magnificent Marigny Opera House on March 8th, 9th and 10th. The 1-hour avant-garde spectacle based on Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” features a huge cast. More than 30 artists fill the space including live musicians, plus some of the top dancers from NOCCA and Chard’s innovative dance theatre company.

Chard Gonzalez Dance Theatre presents an original dance theatre performance “Down the Rabbit Hole” hosted at the magnificent Marigny Opera House on March 8th, 9th and 10th. The 1-hour avant-garde spectacle based on Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” features a huge cast. More than 30 artists fill the space including live musicians, plus some of the top dancers from NOCCA and Chard’s innovative dance theatre company.
“Down the Rabbit Hole” begins as the audience literally walks through a giant grassy tunnel. The curiosities that wait on the other side include a mushroom forest complete with the Caterpillar donning a green afro; a tea party with the wacky Mad Hatter, loopy March Hare and a sleepy Dormouse; the Queen’s croquet grounds laid out with a deck of cards; and the Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit romping around with way too many bread-and-butterflies.
