Break the Mold Productions is proud is present the regional premiere of this evenings of short plays, conceived by Brian Schnipper that will unite an A-list of Pultizer Prize, Emmy and Tony winning authors with a stellar roster of New Orleans award-winning actors and directors. Be there as they offer their unique takes on the moments before, during and after "I do." Witty, warm, poignant and occasionally wacky, these plays are vows to the blessings of equality, the universal challenges of relationships and the often hilarious power of love.
Standing on Ceremony will be presented in situ, in the sanctuary at St. Anna’s Episcopal Church. Father Bill Terry, rector of St. Anna’s, gave his blessing to this venture and its message of marriage equality. “It is time that we take a fresh and inclusive look at life long promises and how they play out in our lives and loves. St. Anna’s is a church for all people and we are excited to offer our space for the exciting production.”
The cast includes: Jeff Mallon, Karen Shields, Diana Shortez, Veronica Russell, Doug Mundy, Ben Carbo, Nelson Gonzales, Derrick Stevens and Rebecca Meyers. Directed by Glenn Meche, Frederick Mead and Karen Shields.
Tickets are $15 online at http://standingonceremony.eventbrite.com and $18 at the door.
