The St. Philip Players and director Stacy Taliancich present Ernest Thompson's "On Golden Pond," July 30, 31 and August 1st. This is the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer who are facing their golden years together when their daughter and her fiance, Bill, drop off Bill's thirteen year old son to spend the summer. Norman revels in taking the boy fishing, showing him good books and in return learns some lessons about teenage awareness - and slang. As Norman gets a little forgetful and has heart palpitations as he nears his 80th birthday he begins to think about how time might be against them, but remains as tart-tongued, observant and eager for life as ever as he and Ethel enjoy their 48th summer on Golden Pond.
