A world premiere by New Orleans playwright Susan Price Monnot, the show centers around Florence (Avis Conti), a passive-aggressive old biddy who keeps her daughter Lizzie (Lizette Bayle) and granddaughter April (Joy Chun) at her command, thinking that she is a semi-invalid. April wants to be a doctor, and is supported by her boyfriend George (Michael Miller) and his possibly insane uncle Matt (Donald Loupe). Somehow, all is stable until Lizzie is diagnosed with terminal cancer, at the same time that April is accepted into medical school. To help around the house, April is forced to hire a caregiver, Mrs. Vinderbaum to take care of the house. The quick Mrs. Vinderblum sees everyone for what they are...and are not.
