The enterprising, audacious Cripple Creek Theatre Company will hold auditions Tuesday and Wednesday (Dec. 3 and 4), 7-10 p.m. at the Studio at Colton School, 2300 St. Claude Ave., for Dario Fo's "We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay!"
Needed are "all types, all ages of actors, with no experience necessary." Nobel Prize-winner Fo ("Accidental Death of an Anarchist") depicts a riot over high food prices at a supermarket and a housewife's attempt to hide pilfered food from her law-abiding husband, dodge the authorities, save her friend's marriage and make dinner.
Sounds like just another day in the Big Easy to us.
