Professor Buzz Podewell closes the 2008-2009 season with his production of Soul of the City by Jim Fitzmorris & John D. Fitzmorris, Jr. Tulane University's playwright-in-residence, Jim Fitzmorris, presents a world of racially charged campaigns, lifelong friends struggling against one another for control of New Orleans with the Superdome as the ultimate football. Exploring the racial integration of New Orleans in the 1950's, and the office of district attorney, Jim Garrison, Soul of the City is a collaborative venture with Xavier University.
