Scott Burrell, artistic director for the NSU theatre department, said the play was
chosen because of the fun the department had with putting on "Death by Disco"
last year.
"Both Disco and Murder Rides Again share the same format, but Murder is basted

The audience members are townsfolk of Groaners Gulch, Nev., and have gathered
for the annual chili cook-off. Characters from the play serve the audience dinner,
and the audience is given clues to try to solve a murder.
The audience is also given bribe money to try to tempt the "suspects" into giving
them better clues so they can solve the murder claim their prize.
"You really can't go wrong by seeing the show," Burrell said. "Twenty dollars gets
you a four-course meal and a live theatre event. You're not going to find a deal like
that anywhere."
Jeff Daab wrote "Murder Rides Again." He is from Richmond, Va., and has his own
business called, "Mystery Dinner Playhouse" in four different locations throughout
the Virginia and Washington, D.C. areas, Burrell said.
"Because of my working with him on some of his past projects when I lived in
Richmond, he has allowed us (NSU Theatre) to use one of his scripts for our own
'mystery dinner' production," Burrell said.
