Chorus Line is the second-longest running show in Broadway history – playing 6,137 times! A Chorus Line tells of the achingly poignant ambitions of professional Broadway “gypsies” who travel from audition to audition to land a job in a show. It is a powerful metaphor for all human aspiration. A Chorus Line is a celebration of those unsung heroes of American musical theatre: the chorus dancers, the hoofer, and all of those valiant, over-dedicated, underpaid, highly trained performers who back up the stars and make them look even more talented than they are. Liz Argus, last season’s star of Annie Get Your Gun, returns in the lead role of “Cassie,” once a featured performer but now struggling for a chorus job.
