NUGENT DANCE is a company of performing artists committed to presentation, promotion, and education of intelligent, inspiring, and contemporary dance theater.
Led by choreographer Stephanie Nugent, the company pursues socially relevant and kinetically virtuosic performance, inspired by the drama of physical expression and the visual poetry of dance.
Since its inception in 2001, the company has grown to include a core of performing artists, a resident lighting designer, and several collaborative partnerships with visual artists, media artists, musicians, and other choregraphers.
