The show opened the Bayou Dinner Theater's "Bayou II" series of shows that were to be more cutting edge and less "dinner theater" fare. The shows were to be on "dark nights" Sunday through Wednesday. SPEED THE PLOW was a little too edgy for management. They closed the show after the first few performances. The Show transferred to True Brew Theater with Jim Chimento being replaced by Alan Paul Lee due to scheduled surgery.
