Berkeley Rep’s turning 40, and we’re celebrating in style! Join us at The 2008 Narsai Toast 40th Anniversary Gala to celebrate forty years of award-winning theatre. To commemorate Berkeley Rep and its place in the community, we will be honoring one of the theatre’s greatest friends, Michael Steinberg, former CEO of Macy’s West.
The Narsai Toast is one of the finest gala fundraisers in the Bay Area held at The Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. Our host Narsai David, a culinary legend and KCBS food editor, brings together a team of some of the finest chefs to create a truly unique four-course meal.
This year’s celebrity chefs are Jean-Pierre Dubray of The Ritz-Carlton, Adrian Hoffman of Lark Creek Restaurant Group, Joseph Manzare of Globe, Piero Selvaggio of Valentino and Staffan Terje of Perbacco.
Accompanied by exquisite wine by Conundrum, Domaine Carneros, Merry Edwards Wines, Narsai David Napa Valley, Quady Winery, Raymond Vineyards, Russian Hill Estate Winery and Simi Winery.
Combine this with an extensive silent auction, an exhilarating live auction of one-of-a-kind items and entertainment by local favorite Paula West, and you won’t want to miss out on this magical evening, shared with over 450 guests from the arts, business and culinary communities.
Proceeds will benefit the Theatre’s productions and awarding education programs, as well as the artistic initiatives of the 40th Anniversary Campaign.
Tickets begin at $1,000. Tables are priced between $10,000 and $25,000.
To sponsor a table or to purchase tickets, please contact Terin Christensen, Special Events Manager, at 510.647.2906 or e-mail tchristensen@berkeleyrep.org.
