The Playwrights' Center of San Francisco is delighted to present our 2008 Spring Reading Series. This season we examine six new plays that promise to be sometimes enthralling, sometimes hilarious, sometimes perplexing, but always engaging and instructive. Join us as we enjoy and discuss these new works, uncover important truths about our own creative endeavors, and help to launch these up-and-coming artists.
The Playwrights' Center is thrilled to report a terrifically successful Sheherezade. This year's event—our most ambitious yet, with two directors and three performances—netted $2800. The house was overflowing the final night for a very lively and entertaining performance. Cheers and thank you to everyone who came out to support us!
