My family and I currently reside in Covington, LA, having moved here after spending our whole lives on the westbank of New Orleans. Besides being a husband and father of three boys, I am also a middle school assistant principal in Jefferson Parish. In college, I earned a BA from the University of New Orleans in Music Education (Clarinet major) in 1980 and a Masters of Music Education (Classical Saxophone major) from Loyola University of the South in 1988. I have studied with Arthur Knight, Stanley Weinstein, Louis Berndt, Bob Lockhart, Paul McGinley, Walter Barszenik, and Crawford Best.

As for performing experience, I have performed with The Temptations, Bob Hope, Julio Ingeles, Lou Rawls, Rita Moreno, Keilly Smith, Frankie Ford, The Frankie Mann Orchestra, The Jimmy Maxwell Orchestra, The Guy Lombardo Orchestra, The Jan Garber Orchestra, The New Levithan Oriental-Foxtrot Orchestra, and The New Orleans Philharmonic Orchestra. I have also played in the pit orchestras for The Saenger Theater (New Orleans), Rivertown Repertory Theater, Le Petit Theater, Tulane Summer Lyric Theater, University of New Orleans, Nicholls State University, Mt. Carmel Academy, Jesuit High School, Immaculata High School, and St. Martin's Episcopal High School.
