Marshall has enjoyed a very successful art career, spanning over 15 years. Painting murals from as little as 3'x5', to as large as 65'x85' all around New Orleans and the United States. Marshall has also worked with well known local art, and scenic companies such as Spangenburg Studios, and The Kern Companies. His most notable artistic credit was as an Art Director with The Orleans Parish Prison Art Program, for 8 years. Marshall has been recognized by both New Orleans Mayors Marc Morial, and C. Ray Nagin, for his outstanding contribution to the beautification of New Orleans through his large scale public art. Also received The Innovations in State and Local Government Award from The Ford Foundation and The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, for his work with the New Orleans Parish Prison Art Program.
