UPSTAIRS is a new musical tragedy about the deadliest crime against LGBT people in U.S. History, the 1973 arson fire at the Up Stairs Lounge in New Orleans, LA.
Lost in obscurity, the stories of the victims and survivors are nonetheless compelling, heartbreaking, inspiring and relevant, even today. This play will PREMIERE in New Orleans on the 40th Anniversary of the tragedy that inspired it: June 20-24 at Cafe' Istanbul!
