I have been a full time independent freelance New Orleans Photographer since 1982, located on Bienville Street for 21 years, recently moving to Metairie, LA.
I started in Theatrical Photography at the Beverly Dinner Theatre during Bells are Ringing (Flo Presti was in the chorus) followed by The Music Man, in which so many of New Orleans favorite actors played. It was during the run of this production that the Beverly burned to the ground.
Cast member Dianne Lala, then a high school student, was my first theatrical headshot subject.
I photographed the cast photo of every production of the Rose Dinner Theatre on the West Bank from A Chorus Line until Elliot Keener sold the business.
Along the way I have made headshots for literally hundreds of New Orleans actors, from Elliot Keener through Janet Shea, Director Sonny Borey and Actress/Choreographer Linda Hebert, Ricky Graham, Becky Allen, Cynthia and Lyla Hay Owen, Amy Alvarez, Robert Pavlovich, the casts of Jesuit High musicals for 7 years, Dillard University productions for 5 years, Mt Carmel theatre productions for 3 years, Summer Stages for 13 years, and now the headshots for many NOCCA actors for 5 years, as well as numerous contemporary actors, musicians, and entertainers.
I have studio space with adjacent landscaped garden photo space in Metairie, 5 blocks from Lakeside Mall.
