Craig A Meyer has traversed all four corners of the entertainment industry, making strong impressions in theatre, film, television and music.
On Broadway, Meyer created the role of Clinton Badger in MGM’s classic Meet Me In St Louis and toured nationally in Cats as Skimbleshanks, The Red Caboose in Starlight Express, and Mike Nulty in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Regionally, he has starred in Forever Plaid (Frankie), A Class Act (Lehman Engel), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), 42nd Street (Billy Lawlor), The All Night Strut and the West Coast Premiere of The Thing About Men (Man).
In film, Meyer sang “A Whole New World” in Disney’s Oscar® winning classic, Aladdin, and also had the pleasure of working with Tim Rice and Elton John on their first Disney collaboration, The Lion King.
Television appearances include guest-starring roles on Will & Grace, Good Morning Miami, Family Law, General Hospital, Fernwood 2nite, The E! True Hollywood Story, as well as appearances on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, The Arsenio Hall Show and even The Gong Show.
In music, Meyer has toured internationally and recorded with music legends Barry Manilow and Frankie Valli, and has headlined for Princess Cruises around the world.
As an educator, Meyer created Music-Theatre 101 a unique and innovative workshop teaching the fundamentals of Musical Theatre, and co-created SRO, a year round Musical-Theater workshop for children and young adults.
Honors within the music community include prestigious fellowships with the Los Angeles Master Chorale and A.S.K. Theatre Projects, master classes at Texas Wesleyan University (Ft. Worth), the University of the Nations (Kona, HI) and a grant from the Gillman Gonzalez-Falla Theatre Foundation.
Through the Meyer Vocal Workshop, Meyer teaches and coaches singers in a variety of musical idioms including Broadway, pop, jazz and country. With a diverse student body, Meyer’s clients are currently performing in venues worldwide including the United States, Europe and Asia.
Meyer is a proud member of AEA, SAG, AFTRA, and ASCAP.
