Michael Davis Michael Davis created and wrote the character of Chef Tad Overdone in his home town of San Francisco especially for Teatro Zinzanni. Previously Michael Davis wrote and created the character of Michael Davis, the comedian/juggler. He is a veteran of stage and television, compared to Jack Benny, Will Rodgers, and Groucho Marx by the critics of New Yorker Magazine, The New York Times, and Rolling Stone. Michael Davis is the original TV juggler who juggled the bowling balls and the knives on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, David Letterman, HBO Comic Relief and Sesame Street. Beginning as a street performer, a clown for Ringling Brother Circus, performing in three Broadway musicals: Sugar Babies, Broadway Follies and Comedy Tonight, and for Presidents, Queens, and appearing as Frank Sinatra’s opening act in Las Vegas, it’s a full circle back to San Francisco and the circus of Teatro Zinzanni.
