Legendary French star Liliane Montevecchi, joins the international cast as hostess/chanteuse. Best known for her Tony Award-winning role in Tommy Tune’s Nine, Montevecchi has an illustrious career spanning four decades. Born in Paris, she joined Roland Petit Ballets as a teenage prima ballerina, spent seven years under contract to MGM, appearing with Fred Astaire in Daddy Longlegs, with Elvis Presley in King Creole, and Marlon Brando in Young Lions among many others. Most recently she played a cameo role in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She starred in the Folies Bergère in Paris and the U.S., and went on to Broadway starring in Nine, for which she won the Tony and the Drama Desk award, and Grand Hotel (Tony nominee). Among others, her starring roles include Gigi, Hello Dolly and Irma La Douce. She was nominated for an Emmy for Child of Our Time. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and Lincoln Center and has taken her own highly-acclaimed show On the Boulevard around the world. For her humanitarian work, she was knighted by the Knights of Malta.
