Alan is an actor, writer and producer. In addition to numerous stage performances, he was also one of the country's premier stand up comedians, working with The Temptations, Melissa Manchester, Chicago, Air Supply and Pattie Labelle as well as Sam Kinison, Elaine Boosler, Waylong Flowers and Madam, Bill Cosby, and Jeff Foxworthy. Alan is currently writing, producing and appearing in feature films. His book, PATRON SAINTS, recounts how the New Orleans Saints inspired the city of New Orleans and is being developed as a major motion picture to be filmed in the summer of 2009.
